Ghost Rock (2004)

They promised me a kung-fu western.

"The Old West has a new Attitude!" - TAG LINE

If by new attitude they mean painfully slow and filled with snore-ass action than YES! it is a new benchmark in lame-e-tude.

A+ for effort. Smelly deceased F- for execution. Even Gary Busey is reigned in as the main villain. There should be some kind of law against that. Writer/Star Michael Worth puts in a wooden performance backed by his unnecessarily serious screenplay. There's a few sparse bouts of martial arts, but it's all really short, poorly shot and slowwwwwwwwwww. Shame on the creative team, especially when they share the same co-star/fight choreographer from the great BROKEN PATH.

I'll just have to stick to Hong Kong for my kinetic kung-fu martial arts westerns.

The trailer is neat, but that's all the meat on them bones.
